智慧亚洲实验室旨在研究可行的跨文化、跨学科、跨机构合作框架,推进宏观尺度的区域性经济开发项目的研究,设计和开发合作,通过采用新的智能硬件和软件技术,包括人工智能,机器人和数据可视化,以解决中国、东盟国家和发展中国家快速增长中所面对的能源、环境、健康和人类可持续发展的挑战。
相关合作将探寻各参与机构、政府支持、社会文化和经济背景下的优化资源和专业知识,找到的最大潜力进行交流、促进和实现增值解决这些紧迫的挑战。目前实验室的整合研发重点是城市操作系统,通过以全局的视角整合城市生活的不同模块,实现可持续的、协作的和智慧的亚洲。

课程目标:
基于亚洲城市生活方式的现状,设计跨文化的城市操作系统,整合与连接多方面的核心模块,完成智慧亚洲的概念原型和评价体系。

城市操作系统的架构与界面(软件和硬件);
创造整合的接口与之前的项目进行连接(如城市环境、文化与旅行应用等)

Design for Future Urban Systems in the Context of a Smart Asia
(Collaboration between China, Korea, Japan & USA)

Introduction about Smart Asia Platform:
Smart Asia Lab investigates the possibilities of collaborating in cross-cultural, cross-disciplinary, cross-institutional frameworks advancing research, design and development of macro-scale regional economic development projects featuring new smart hardware and software technologies including artificial intelligence, robotics, and data visualization to solve energy, environmental, health and human sustainability challenges facing the rapid growth of China, ASEAN nations and the developing world.
The collaboration seeks to optimize resources and expertise in each of the participating institutions and supporting governmental, socio-cultural and economic contexts to find the maximum potential to exchange, promote and realize value added solutions to these pressing challenges. Currently the R&D focus of the lab will be the development of urban OS with multiple urban lifestyle modules form the holistic point of view to enable Smart Asia Lab to achieve the goal of sustainable, collaborative and smart Asia.

Mission and Goal:
Based on contemporary Asian urban lifestyles, the project will research, design and prototype an Urban OS for Smart Asia, linking multiple cities, integrating diverse core modules and components with final goal to achieve a conceptual prototype and evaluation index of international Urban OS current trends and future applications.

Urban OS Architecture & Interface (Hardware & Software)
Create API linking PM2.5 product + innozone (mobile version) + subscope

Smart City in Perspective of Innovation 2.0
Smart City is the city morphology supported by the new generation of ICT in perspective of innovation 2.0 in a knowledge-based society. Smart city requires not only the next generation of ICT like the Internet of Things and Cloud Computing, it also requires tools and methodologies like Wiki, SNS, Meta-synthesis, Fab Lab and Living Lab, to foster an ecosystem enabling innovation emergence. Smart city is characterized by comprehensive perception, ubiquitous connectivity, pervasive intelligence, and people-centered sustainable innovation which is featured by user innovation, mass innovation, open innovation, and collaborative innovation. Smart city can shape the public value and create unique value for the city and for every citizen in the city.
