智慧生活联合实验室网络平台的描述:
智慧生活实验室网络平台是一个自我创新的环境,学生、教师和参与的公司共同工作,面向城市生活方式来创造定制工具,并促进特定类型产品的研究、设计和原型化。平台的目标包括两个方面:1、实验新的协同工作工具和方法,2、通过全球化的合作、定制、用户生成以及众筹的方式开发高价值、高品质商业化的产品解决方案。平台将由设计师、技术专家、品牌专家、制造商和商业专家组成,并从学术和商业的多种情境下创造真实的产品开发机会,并整合到这一合作框架中。实验室的整合研发重点,将发展协同工作的技术,使团队能够跨越语言、文化和地理的边界优化通信和协作。

Introduction about Living Lab Platform:
Living Lab Platform is a self-generating environment in which students, faculty and participating sponsoring companies work together to create customized, on-demand tools to facilitate the research, design and prototyping of a range of specialized products for new urban lifestyles.

The objective of the lab is two-fold: 1. Experiment with new co-working tools and methods; 2. Develop products that use the latest in advanced global collaboration, on-demand manufacturing, user-generated content and crowd-source funding to create useful, high-quality, commercially viable new product solutions.

Living Lab teams will be comprised of a combination of designers, technologists, branding, manufacturing and business experts working from diverse contexts in both academic and commercial environments to enable real product development opportunities to emerge from this collaborative framework. Integral to the R&D focus of the lab, will be the development of co-working technologies to enable teams to optimize communications and collaboration across industry, language, cultural, and geographic borders.

  2. 工具方法:提供创客创业设计与数字成型工具与资源库,

Mission and Goal:
Mission is to develop the operating philosophy, system, methodology, tools and applications.

  1. System Framework: Developing networking platform OS for team building, design thinking collabortaion and project coordination.
  2. Tools & Methods: Providing the startup tool kits, digital fabrication tools and resources.
    3. Resource Connection: Connecting cross-disciplinary, cross-cultural, international teams and labs.
  3. Validations and Learning:  Setup and support of pilot co-design projects’ next steps.

Parsons DESIS (Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability) Lab is a research laboratory created in 2009 at The New School in New York City. DESIS Lab works at the intersection of strategic and service design, management, and social theory, applying interdisciplinary expertise in problem setting and problem solving to sustainable practices and social innovation.
CMU Design DESIS Lab

The DESIS at Carnegie Mellon University is situated within the School of Design in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. The lab was founded in November, 2011 after a realignment and repositioning of core values, inherit in many of our current on-going projects. The School of Design for many years has conducted classroom projects based upon social innovation and design for social and ecological good and the establishment of the LAB serves to formalize and expand these capabilities to all levels within the program. This LAB is still in its early stages of formulation.
We are designing a summer-based course in ecoliteracy which looks at the connections and symbiotic relationships between the regional environment and urban-dwelling. We are developing an ‘incubator’ within which student and faculty research in the area of social innovation can be developed and launched as viable business propositions.
在第三代Living Lab中,Living Lab范围已经涉及到整个城市区域,它是运行于整个城市范围的开放实验空间,依靠生活、工作于城市中的各类用户,为创新应用实时地提供原型设计和测试平台,因此具有用户驱动的创新环境并且可以在整个城市范围内进行试验。这样的Living Lab有利于涌现和推动创新进程,而且通过共同创新、开放创新超出单个科技人员、企业家、公司或其他组织的创新可能。
